June has been an incredible month for me and my business. While attending the Success Tour hosted by Dr. Stacia Pierce and Ariana Pierce in Chicago I learned so many valuable tips on how to up-level my business through the use of social media. I was also surprised with the honor of sitting on the discussion panel to share my business success with the audience since coaching with Dr. Stacia Pierce. I shared with the audience that before coaching I baked and sold cookies occasionally, my social media posts were hit and miss and I had no clarity in which direction I should be going. Within six months of being in Dr. Stacia's Success Mastery Program the following has happened for me:

Lady Sweet Chip Our bodies should be taken care of as if we were taking care of a luxury vehicle. Luxury vehicles only use premium gas and top grade oil. Are you treating your body like a luxury vehicle and only eating top grade foods?.... Probably not. As the American culture we tend to abuse our bodies by eating large portions, fast food, processed foods and plenty of junk food that has little to no nutritional value. Here are a list of quick fixes to upgrade your body to a luxury vehicle:
1. When you go to a restaurant order off the appetizer menu instead of getting an entire meal. 2. Use a saucer for meals instead of a plate. Your saucer will look nice and full but in reality your portions will be the appropriate size. 3. Cook meals from scratch instead of using prepackaged frozen meals. 4. Stick to the basics - meat, fruits, grains, dairy and vegetables. 5. Upgrade your restaurant choices. 6. Take a lunch that was prepared at home instead of the typical grab and go lunch from a take out place. 7. Have one day a week that you can eat anything you want. By following these simple guidelines and making a plan for yourself you will find that you will have more energy and feel happy about your new eating lifestyle. When I first started baking and selling cookies it was more of a hobby that gave me extra money for the Christmas season. After attending Dr. Stacia Pierce's Women's Success Conference I learned that I could turn my passion for cooking into a full fledged business. I quickly connected with her Success Mastery coaching program and in six months I had secured my LLC, launched my website and started a Face Book fan page for Ashley*s Sweet Chips. I have continued my coaching with Dr. Stacia (www.lifecoach2women.com) learning more and more everyday on growing my business and being a successful entrepreneur. There are four things that I have found having a coach has done for me:
If you are an entrepreneur or have a big dream that you want help getting off the ground, I urge you to get a coach. If you are close to Atlanta or Chicago come join us at the Success Click on the links for more info and register today: Atlanta May, 21, 2016 https://www.facebook.com/events/501229706744070/ Chicago June 11, 2016 https://www.facebook.com/events/968772729896496/ Using products that are recognizable to the consumer is important. Eggs have nutritional benefits because they are a real product and they contain no preservatives. Eggs are a key ingredient in Ashley*s Sweet Chips. We believe in using quality products that are natural and contain no preservatives. The American Egg Board states, "no single ingredient can replace the multiple functions provided by REAL eggs". The ingredients contained in eggs have proven to provide a product with high quality, taste, texture and look. I encourage everyone who reads this to check products to see if they contain real eggs or egg substitutes.
Today everyone is on the gluten free wagon. Have you ever asked: How did we get here? Is it just another fad? What is gluten? These are questions that boggle the minds of many. To answer the question what is gluten? Gluten is a combination of proteins found in wheat, barley and rye which is the substance that causes food to stick together. and keep its shape. The truth is that unless you have Celiac disease or a wheat sensitivity we should have gluten in our diets. I'm a firm believer that if you eat foods that contain little to no preservatives you will be a healthier person. Approximately 15 years ago as I was meditating one morning God revealed to me that I did not grow up eating foods that contained a bunch of preservatives so why should I be feeding my family a bunch of unhealthy foods. This is when I changed the eating habits for my household. I purchase only fresh and frozen foods while trying to avoid canned foods as much as possible. The benefits have resulted in a family that is healthy and rarely get a cold or virus. I encourage everyone to research food trends and do what is in the best interest of your health.

The holiday season is vastly approaching. If you are feeling like time is moving too fast and are trying to figure out how to prepare you can follow these simple tips for planning the holiday season. It is very simple you need to make a list. My mentor, Dr. Stacia Pierce has taught me the importance of making lists. When you write things down you can remember what you need to accomplish and it keeps you from feeling rushed and over whelmed. You will want to create the following lists:
I urge you to take time today to create your holiday lists and to take time out to be grateful for the opportunity to spend time with family and friends this holiday season. Take care, Lady Sweet Chip February is love month. Most people think of candy, cards and flowers but who thinks of vegetables. As you know Sweet Potato is one of the major ingredients in Ashley*s Sweet Chips but who ever thought of the sweet potato being known throughout history as being an aphrodisiac. In Europe in the early 1600’s sweet potato tarts were eaten to increase sexual desire.
Sweet Potatoes are a root vegetable that has many health benefits. Sweet potatoes contain Viatamins A, B, C & D, magnesium, iron and potassium. These vitamins and minerals are known for having properties that are related to increased energy levels & mood, healthy bones, resistance to stress, proper immune functioning, relaxation, anti-stress and healthy skin and teeth. The ingredients in chocolate are known to cause a person’s serotonin levels to spike. Sweet potatoes also contain ingredients that cause serotonin levels to rise. The increase of serotonin in the body is what gives a person the feeling of happiness. People have been known to eat chocolate as a stress reliever which creates the feeling of happiness. Many people associate the feeling of happiness with being in love. I urge you to take part in this experience of health and happiness while eating Ashley*s Sweet Chips a.k.a.” Love Potion Letter A”. |
